Ann Klein Obituary

Ann Marie Klein, age 79 of Monticello and Palisade, passed away on April 29, 2019 after battling leukemia with exceptional strength and grace. Ann was born on September 14, 1939, in Monticello, MN, to Paul and Marie Klein. She graduated from St Cloud State and spent her entire career as a librarian with the Gilbert School District. In retirement, Ann loved spending peaceful days reading at her cabin on Gun Lake. Ann was a loving sister, devoted friend, keeper of family traditions and maker of beautiful baked goods and baskets. She was independent and kind and took great joy in her nieces and nephews. Ann was dearly loved and will be forever remembered. Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James and Robert; and sister, Mary Jane (Raymond) Puncochar. Survived by brothers Paul (Dianne) and William; sister Joyce (Barry) Peterson; sister-in-law Fay Klein; nieces and nephews; grandnieces and grandnephews.

Per Ann’s wishes, no service and private internment.
