Hattie Arnold

   Hattie G. Arnold, age 89 of Monticello, passed away at 1:35AM on Monday, February 18, 2019 at CentraCare Nursing Home after rehabilitation following knee replacement surgery.  

   Funeral Service will be at 11:00am on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 413 E. 3rd St, Monticello with Pastor Darren Green officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Interment at Riverside Cemetery in Monticello.

  Hattie was born March 14, 1929 in Monticello to Leo and Florence Klatt. She married Glen Arnold on September 23, 1948 in Monticello. She lived her entire life in Monticello. She worked at various jobs including potato farms, nanny, and cooking at the schools and old hospital. She and Glen worked as janitor at St. Peter Church from 1989 to 1997.

   She is survived by her sons Douglas and Dennis of Monticello; two grandsons Russell (Erin) and Brian (Erin); two great granddaughters, Reagan and Jadyn of Forest Lake; two sisters, Verna Snodgrass, Mabel Liefert; two brothers, Robert Klatt and Larry Klatt; very special friend, Scott Bigelow; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her son, Dale, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Klatt; brothers, Roger, Delbert and Gordon; daughter-in-law, Jaye Papke Arnold.
