Herbert Adolph Gustafson

Herbert Adolph Gustafson, 88, passed away quietly in his sleep at Mercy Hospital.

Survived by his loving wife, Gerry; sister, Carol G. McMillan; four children, Deb (Cal) Varner, Rande (Barb) Gustafson, Darcie (Kevin) Norton, and Ross (Michelle) Gustafson; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Karl and Freda Gustafson; brothers, David and Dennis Gustafson; and first wife, Janet.

Herb was born in Minneapolis on 1-27-31, and attended Minnehaha Academy and Augsburg College. He was in track and football and was in the Naval Reserves. He worked in commercial construction for many years.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Peterson-Grimsmo Funeral Chapel, 250 Broadway Street E – Monticello, on Saturday, September 14th at 11:00am.
