Passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023, in St. Cloud, MN. Abby was born on October 5, 1943, in Saint Wendel, MN to parents Henry P. and Leona (Yamry) Schwintek. Abby lived most of her life in Clearwater where she worked as a cook. She greatly enjoyed spending time with family, cooking for the holidays, playing cards and bingo, polka dancing with her sisters, and especially piecing together puzzles with her granddaughter Crystal. She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Wipper; son Jesse Wipper; grandson Cole Campbell; siblings Leander Schwintek, Jerome Schwintek, Betty Johannes, Sylvia Doble and Adeline Pusc. Abby is survived by her children Rose (Corky) Stroschein of St. Cloud, Vicky (Dan) Campbell of Princeton, and Patricia (Kirk) Simonsmeier of Princeton; 8 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; siblings Delphine Olson, Mary Ann Douvier, Rosie Thompson-Koechner, Jim Schwintek, Ron Schwintek, Roger Schwintek, and other relatives & friends. Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Saturday, April 22, 2023, with visitation at 10AM at Peterson-Grimsmo Funeral Chapel, 250 E. Broadway Street, Monticello, MN. 763-295-2918.
