Anna "Anne" Lourene (Hansen) Quarnstrom

Age 93, formerly of Plymouth, MN, Anne went to be with her Lord January 5, 2020.  Anne was born in Clearbrook, MN Sepembert 9, 1926 to Hans and Thora (Thompson) Hansen.  She graduated from Clearbrook High School in 1944.  She worked at the Clearbrook Hotel and Aaslands Hartz Store.  She attended Seljord and Good Shepherd Lutheran Churches.  While working at Augsburg Publishing she went to the Lutheran Bible Institute and Swedish Hospital (MMC, becoming an LPN).  She worked at the Swedish (MMC) Hospital for the next 26 years.

In 1984, Anne married Paul Quarnstrom moving to Fridley, then to Plymouth, MN.  Her last years were lived at Cornerstone Assisted Living in Plymouth.

Anne was preceeded in death by her parents,; husband, Paul; brothers, Oberon, Donald, Hartvig and Ted Hansen; sisters, Grace Johnson, Ruth Frick and Millie Hansen; grandson, Brad Berntson; granddaughter, Robin Neeland.  She is survived by brother, Rod Hansen; sisters-in-law, Faye and Eileen Hansen; Goddaughter, Renate Whitmas; step-son, Gary (Ardyth) Quarnstrom; step-daughter, Bonnie (Dennis) Fleigle, 2 grandsons; 1 granddaughter; 10 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; many beloved nephews and nieces.

A Celebration of Anne’s life will be at 11:00AM on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Fridley Covenant Church, 6390 University Ave NE, Fridley, with visitation starting at 10:00AM. 

Burial at Seljord Cemetery in Clearbrook, MN at a later date.
