Passed away at Cherrywood of Big Lake on Wednesday, April 27, 2022. Barbara was born on August 9, 1933 to Ray & Frances (Tozer) Planer in Monticello. She married Clyde Scanlon on November 14, 1953 at St. Timothy Catholic Church in Maple Lake. She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church in Monticello. She was an elected board member at the Monticello Hospital and also volunteered on the hospital auxiliary. She loved being with friends and family and enjoyed going out to eat.  Barbara is survived by her sister Jackie (Richard) Rossberg; niece Jeannie; and nephews Jeff, and Randy. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Rollie; and husband Clyde (11/9/2010). Celebration of life service to be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at the Monticello American Legion, 304 Elm Street, Monticello from 2PM-5PM.  Arr. by Peterson-Grimsmo Funeral Chapel. 763-295-2918.
