Carl Aubol, Sr.
Age 87, of Big Lake, MN passed away peacefully at home. He is survived by his children Cynthia (Paul) DeCourcy, Carl Jr. (Karin) Aubol, and Bruce (Mary) Aubol; grandchildren Andrew DeCourcy, Nicole Ferrian, Marty Flicek, Emily Leaf, Fr. Rick Aubol, Daniel Aubol, Christine Bruley, and Michael Aubol; great-grandchildren Cole Ferrian, Cody Ferrian, Bernadette Bruley, and Martin Bruley; and brother David Aubol.
Carl was fond of dogs, horses, cars, boating, motorcycles, hunting, fishing, bowling and snowmobiling. He was dedicated to his community, having served for 32 years on the Big Lake Fire Department, as a township board supervisor for Big Lake Township, and for many years on the church council at Saron Lutheran Church. He was a real estate broker, sold TVs and household appliances, drove school bus, and co-owned a Texaco Gas Station.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 22, 2025 with visitation 1 hour prior to service at Saron Lutheran Church, 311 Lake Street South, Big Lake, MN. Interment to follow at Big Lake Cemetery in Big Lake, MN. A luncheon will be served at church after the interment.
