Charles “Chuck” Lower
Age 65 of Buffalo
Passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents Donald J. and Anita (Kershaw) Lower; grandson Silas Lower; aunt Ginny Bunte; and brother-in-law Wally Sinko. Chuck is survived by his wife of 45 years Cindy (Greenhagel) Lower; children April (Jared) Vedders, Chad (Kelly) Lower, Alec (Shanna) Lower; grandchildren Logan, Lyla, Ethan, Spencer, Everleigh, and Cade; siblings Cheryl Sinko, and Michael Lower; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
Chuck was a loving and devoted husband, father and PopPop. He lived for rough housing with his grandchildren and making up silly songs about them. He enjoyed spending quality time with them, watching sporting events, fishing, and golfing. Even though Chuck had been retired for 3 years, he never found time to sit still. Well, there was time to sit still, he just didn’t. Most recently, he built a deck around the pool Cindy had been hoping for, for years. He also built a successful business, Trinity Equipment, based on integrity and relationships. His customers viewed him as an honest man that never walked away from an unfinished job. In his younger years, Chuck was a beloved coach that was dedicated to his children and the youth of the community. He also had the pleasure of watching his sons coach their children. He was very involved with his church and recently became a licensed minister. He always said, “I’ll take their hand, until they hold the hand of Jesus”.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 11AM with visitation 1 hour prior at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 9300 Jason Avenue, Monticello, MN. Arr by Peterson-Grimsmo Funeral Chapel. (www.peterson-grimsmochapel.com)
