Christie L. (Saf) Grambart

Christie L (Saf) Grambart, age 73 of Monticello, MN passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family, on Thursday, January 23, 2025.  Christie was born September 11, 1951 in Greene County, IN. She attended North Hennepin college and married her husband of over 40 years Milton Grambart in 1982.

Christie started in the healthcare field at a young age where she dedicated more than 30 years as an emergency nurse. She continued her education starting as a CNA to LPN and finally an RN, while raising 3 young children. 

Christie enjoyed fishing, baking, taking short trips, playing cards, watching wildlife, sunsets, going to the cabin and above all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. 

Christie's heart was filled with love, generosity, helping others and exceeding the needs of everyone around her. 

Christie is survived by her loving husband, Milton Grambart; Children, Chad, Jennifer (Chuck), and Lauri; Grandchildren Gabriella, Anika, Landyn, Mason, Grahm, Ayla, Easton, and Adalyn; siblings Cheryl and David, and numerous family and friends. 

She is preceded in death by her mother Phoebe and brother Vic.

Christie wished to be cremated, and her service will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025, Visitation 11:00 am, service 12:00 pm, at Peterson-Grimsmo Funeral Chapel, 250 E Broadway St. Monticello, MN.
