Christopher "Chris" Steven Donaghue

Christopher Steven Donaghue, age 48 of Big Lake, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 19, 2021. Chris was born on April 7, 1973, in Moorhead, Minnesota. He graduated from Brooklyn Center High School in 1991. He attended Hennepin Technical College and earned an Associates Degree in HVAC. Chris went on to marry his high school sweetheart, Dana. Soon after, they welcomed their two children, Sierra, and Dylan. Chris was kind and always willing to help people. He also had a great sense of humor, the goofy kind that could make anyone laugh. He really enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time outdoors. He also had a great love for animals.

He was preceded in death by his father, Steven Donaghue. He is survived by his mother, Kathy Donaghue; children, Sierra Donaghue, and Dylan Donaghue; and other relatives & friends. A Celebration of Life in honor of Chris will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2021, from 4PM-5:30PM with a time to share memories at 5:30PM at PETERSON-GRIMSMO FUNERAL CHAPEL. 763-295-2918.
