Clara Olive (Lashey) Murphy

Clara “Claire” Olive Murphy, Age 102 of Champlin, MN. Born on May 11, 1920 in Marion, Ohio to Barbara (Culp) and George F. Lashey, went to be with her Lord and savior Jesus Christ on August 28, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband the Rev. Harley Scott “Pat” Murphy; daughter Coral “Corky” Nickila; son-in-law William “Bill” Nickila; son Michael “Mike” Murphy; son-in-law the Rev. Dr. Stanley “Stan” Cox; and grandsons Bill, and John Mark Cox. She is survived by daughters Sharon Cox, Coleen (Franke) Clark,  and Kathleen "Kathy” (Richard) Meehan; son Jonathan “Scott” (Cathy) Murphy; 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews; and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Saturday, September 3, 2022 with visitation 1 hour prior to service at Bethany Bible Church, 511 Eagle Lake Road North, Big Lake, MN.
