Cody Daniel Holtan

Cody Daniel Holtan, age 34 of Rockford, MN, passed away on November 1, 2025. Preceded in death by grandmothers LaVonne Holtan, and Stella Fern. Survived by grandfathers Dave Holtan, Sr., and Al Fern; parents Dan (Shelli) Holtan, and Michele Holtan (John); daughter Skye Holtan; siblings Drew James (Tanya) Holtan, Jacob (Autumn) Staub, Andrew Staub, and Colby Staub; significant other Andrea Niesen; aunts and uncles David, Jr. (Karen) Holtan, Lisa (Lon) Hatcher, Lori (Randy) Barker, Al Fern, Jr.; and many loving friends.

Everyone loved Cody. His zest for life, skill at Frisbee Golf, and affinity for fishing, camping and the outdoors were all a part of what drew others to him with his magnetic personality.

No amount of love shown towards Cody could equal the love he had for his daughter, Skye. She was THE most important person in his life and meant everything to him.

A memorial service for Cody will be held at 2PM on Friday, November 7, 2025 with visitation 1 hour prior at Peterson-Grimsmo Funeral Chapel.  In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family for a trust to be established in Skye’s name.
