Cynthia "Cyndi" Hageman Obituary

Cynthia (Cyndi) Hageman, age 66, of Monticello, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Cyndi was the proud mother of four children: Melissa, Matthew, Molly, and Monica. She was blessed with 13 grandchildren who were her greatest joy. She built her life around love, laughter, and the simple happiness of being together.

A lifelong animal lover, she dedicated many years to grooming and caring for animals. She owned and operated her own pet grooming and boarding facility, where she treated every animal as family. Her gentle hands, warm heart, and calm presence made her a favorite among both pets and their people.

Her strength was something quietly powerful. She bravely fought colorectal cancer and overcame it, showing her family what courage looks like. Her resilience and determination were as much a part of who she was as her kindness.

She was happiest when surrounded by her loved ones, talking at the kitchen table, attending family gatherings, or simply being in the presence of those she cherished. Her family will remember her laugh, her compassion, her patience, and the unconditional love she gave without hesitation.

She is survived by her children: Melissa (Jed) Marciniak, Matthew Hageman, Molly (Joseph) Feit, Monica Hageman; her 13 grandchildren: Kelsey, Alexis, Ashlyn, JuliAnna, Danica, Aidyn, Addisyn, Emma, Carson, Amelia, Alaina, Harley, and Jackson; great-grandkids: Nova and Sailor; siblings: Jim Kirberger, Tom Kirberger, Alan Kirberger; along with many nieces, nephews, relatives, and countless friends, family members, and loved ones who carry her memory forward.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorial gifts to an animal shelter, rescue, or organization of your choice in honor of her lifelong love of animals. Her love remains in every story, every memory, every life she touched, and in the hearts of the family she adored.
