Dalton Eugene Hassler
Age 32 of Big Lake
Passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023. He was born in Fridley, Minnesota on November 19, 1991, to parents Ted and Nancy (Kubik) Hassler. Dalton was a 2010 graduate of Big Lake High School. After high school, he attended and graduated from North Dakota State University with a degree in microbiology.
Kind, loving, soft-spoken, generous, and competitive were a few words that best describe Dalton. He was passionate about watching sports of all kinds, and enjoyed listening to a variety of eclectic music from his personal collection of vinyl. Most of all he adored his cats, and loved spending time with his family at the lake home in Wisconsin. Winters were made for skiing and summers for golf.
Dalton will be tremendously missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Dennis and Marjorie Hassler, and Lester and Janice Kubik. He is survived by his loving parents Ted and Nancy Hassler; sister Lauren (Tom) Fleming; beloved nephew Barrett; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 10 AM to 12 PM on Friday, December 8, 2023, with prayer service at 12 PM at the Peterson-Grimsmo Funeral Chapel, 250 E. Broadway Street, Monticello. 763-295-2918. Please feel free to dress casually, or in college football attire as Dalton would have preferred.
