Darlene D. Kolbinger

Funeral Service to be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Peterson-Grimsmo Funeral Home in Monticello, MN at 11:00 AM for Darlene Dora Kolbinger, age 91, of Becker, MN who passed away on June 26, 2026. Visitation will be one hour prior. She will be laid to rest at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Becker, MN.

Darlene was born on November 24, 1934, to Michael and Roma (Hansen) Baumgartner in Big Lake, MN. She married the love of her life Donald on April 23, 1960, in the Becker Catholic Church. They went on to create a beautiful family having four children, Shelly, Greg, Doug, and David. Darlene enjoyed crossword puzzles, going to the casino, traveling, and cooking. She will be remembered for her loving, devoted, happy, understanding, and forgiving nature. Darlene was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She truly cherished the time spent with family, especially her grandchildren. She was a bright light in so many lives and will be missed dearly.

Darlene is survived by her children, Shelly (Mike) Athman, Greg (Renee), Doug (Becky), and David (Phyllis); grandchildren, Sue, Lucas, Sami, Emma, Marcus, and Abby, 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Avis Henrich, Ginny Agnew, and Sharon Bell, and many nieces, nephews, friends, and family.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years Donald; parents; brothers, Richard and Michael.
