David Alden Davis

Age 87, of Monticello MN, passed away June 9th. Dave was born in Dupree, SD on September 14th, 1936.   In October of 1944, he moved with his family to Princeton, MN where on the 120 acre family farm, he learned the value of hard work, life skills, and the "help thy neighbor" philosophy of life.  After high school, Dave joined the U.S. Army on active duty as a military policeman. Dave enjoyed his gardening, socializing and was an avid, lifelong Vikings fan. He was preceded in death by long time companion, Pam Dearborn ; parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Survived by sister Shirley Traxler of Winchester TN; and other family members and many friends. Dave will  be dearly missed by all.  A memorial for Dave will be determined at a later date.
