Passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 25, 2025. His parents Donald and Donna (Batten) Roses; and sister Darlene Benoit preceded him in death. Surviving are his loving wife of 51 years, Ann (Skrypez) Roses; daughter Alicia (Troy); grandchildren Tyler, Justin, Evan, and Breahna; brother Dean (Regina) Roses; nephews Zac and Trevor Roses; niece Kristy Streff; aunts Queenie and Joy; and many other extended family & friends.
Amongst David’s favorite pastimes were deer hunting, fishing, NASCAR races, and tinkering in the shop. He enjoyed feeding the animals on the farm, especially the family’s potbelly pig. He had many treasured memories spent on the farm.
David was born in California and enjoyed traveling with Ann in the motorhome, especially to escape the frigid Minnesota winters, and bask in the California sun. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. A service to honor David will be held at the family farm on Friday, June 13 at 2pm, luncheon to follow. 15254 Curtis Ave. NW, Monticello.
