Age 57 of Monticello, was reunited in heaven with her dad Merlin Brant; and brothers Bradley, and Randy Brant on Saturday, May 4, 2024. Surviving are her mother Bonnie (Neil) Brant; children Kristina Weber (Ryan Depew), and Dustin (Shayna) Weber; grandchildren Aiden, Becca, and Abigail; siblings Roxane, and Darin; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Dayna was a gifted caregiver. Over the years, she dutifully looked after many residents and others entrusted to her care. Her biggest joy was helping others and just being around her family. She had a strong faith and found comfort in reading her daily “Jesus Calling” scriptures. In the last several years, Dayna was able to travel, and take cruises to the Caribbean, Alaska, and the Panama Canal. Being an outdoors lover, she could be found taking in the sights and sounds of a nature walk, boating on a serene lake, or deer hunting on a frosty fall morning. Dayna also took pleasure in planting and growing her own vegetable and flower gardens.
Dayna will be missed for her smile, sense of humor, unforgettable laugh, and her very presence among us daily. She was loved and will be dearly missed.
