Preceded in death by twin brother Dennis Wichman; sisters Doreen Radel and DeLaine Rein; daughter-in-law Terri Wichman and grandson William Wichman.
Survived by wife of 59 years, Marlene (Bachler) Wichman; children Thomas Wichman, Teri Younge, Sandra Bachler, Roy (Lisa) Wichman, DeAnna Wichman, and Julie Wichman; brother Darold Wichman; nine grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Dean retired from the U.S. Army and was a 50-year member of the Bricklayers Union. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, always having a pocketful of change to share with them. He also liked fishing, football, Nascar, going to the casino, and playing card games.
Visitation held from 4-7PM, Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2021 at PETERSON-GRIMSMO FUNERAL CHAPEL, 250 E. BROADWAY, Monticello and one hour prior to service at church. Memorial service 11AM, Wednesday, Nov. 10 at COMMUNITY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 9225 Jason Ave. NE, Monticello. Interment Riverside Cemetery, Monticello.
