Dennis John Suedbeck

Dennis John Suedbeck, son of Fritz and Charlotte Suedbeck was born on October 27, 1948 in Slayton, MN. He grew up and graduated from Slayton High School in 1966. He entered the Air Force where he served four years including a tour of duty in Viet Nam. After serving his country, he returned and attended Pipestone Technical College where he received his banking and business degree. He moved to Osakis, MN to work at the 1st National Bank of Osakis and eventually moved to the Wright County State Bank in Monticello. When the bank was sold, he worked for the Monticello Insurance Agency.

On December 9, 1978 he married Judy White. They made their home in Osakis and later moved to Monticello. They were blessed with two daughters. 

Dennis served on many boards and committees in Monticello. He served on the Monticello School Board, Wright Tech Board, United Way and American Legion to name a few. He enjoyed golfing, woodworking, reading and especially spending time with his family. 

He is survived by his wife Judy, daughters Michelle (Josh) Holthaus and Angela (Kyle) Erickson; grandchildren Brock, Cale, Avery, and Marit Holthaus and Milo and Wes Erickson; siblings Charlie (Bonnie) Suedbeck, Steve (Deb) Suedbeck, Doug (Wendy) Suedbeck, Patricia (Tom Juranek) Suedbeck, Mark (Sandy) Suedbeck and Lee(Missy) Suedbeck.

Preceded in death by his parents Fritz and Charlotte Suedbeck; brother Rick Suedbeck; nephew, Chad Suedbeck; and niece Amanda Suedbeck.

Visitation will be held at Resurrection Lutheran Church on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 4-8 p.m.
