Donald Enoch Anderson
Age 88 of Monticello
Passed away on December 4, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife Doris (Hartwig) Anderson; and siblings Ruth Erickson, and Richard Anderson. Don was a lifelong resident of Silver Creek Township, leaving only for his service in Korea 1955-1957. After his return, he married his sweetheart, and bought the farm that they called home for the rest of their lives. He had many different jobs, but first and foremost, he was a farmer. Don raised dairy cattle but didn’t stop there. He had beef cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, rabbits, ducks, geese, chickens, shelties, border collies, honeybees, chinchillas, and mink. You never knew what he would think of next. He loved the farm, his family and friends, playing cards, visiting, and putting puzzles together. He will be deeply missed.
A visitation will be held from 5-7PM with vigil service at 7PM on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Faith Lutheran Church, 12449 Clementa Avenue NW, Monticello, MN.
