Donald Raymond Yeazle Jr.

Donald Raymond Yeazle, Jr., 81, of Monticello, MN passed away on March 16, 2024.

Donnie was born in Superior, Wisconsin on July 19, 1942. He will be fondly remembered as a fun-loving father, brother, uncle, and son.

Donnie enjoyed nature—his outdoor interests ranged from hunting and fishing to building birdhouses and daily walks and scooter rides to the nearby Mississippi River. He also loved classic cars, oldies music, and making his friends and family laugh.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fern Virginia (Wallin) Yeazle and Donald Raymond Yeazle Sr, a sister, Delores (Susie) Wendt and her son Paul Jones; and brother-in-law Gary Peterson. He is survived by his daughter Dawn (Dennis) Engvall of Cameron, WI, sister Putzie Govednik of Broken Arrow, OK, Darlene (Punkin) Peterson of Needles, CA.  He is also survived by six nieces and one nephew.

A “Celebration of Life” gathering will be held on June 15, 2024 from 12:00 to 3:00 PM at the Moose Lodge, 66 East 5th Street, Superior, WI.
