Duane Allen Klatt

Duane Allen Klatt, age 76 of Dassel, and formerly of Monticello, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023. He was born October 14, 1947 to Harold and Dorothy (Fels) Klatt.

Duane graduated from Monticello High School. He was a talented carpenter, building many houses in and around the Monticello area. He could build just about anything with this skilled talent.

He was a dedicated hard worker, with a great sense of humor. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and was a huge animal lover.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings.

Duane is survived by his children, Matthew Klatt, Michele Klatt, Danielle Klatt, Eric Klatt; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; his beloved cats; and many other family and friends.

A celebration of Duane’s life will be held at a later date.
