Age 80, of Monticello, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 4, 2020 in Devil’s Lake, North Dakota.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Hal; sister, Bunny.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Pat (Fyle); 8 children, Michael, Linda (Andrew), James (Tammy), Darrel, Perry, Terry (Jessica), Tyra and Tiffany. Also survived by 4 step-children, Neil (Itza), Camille, Bethany (Paul) and Ashley (Scott); siblings, Francis, Julian, James and Anna; many grand and great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Ed was born in Tokio, North Dakota on August 28, 1939 the son of Willie and Olivia (Doyle) Jensen. Entered the U.S. Navy in 1957. He was employed at MESCO and Prospect Foundry as a journeyman molder until he retired in the late 1980’s. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and reading Louis L’Amour westerns. He loved spending time with and teasing the Little Ones. Ed was a faithful member of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd Degree and 4th Degree.
A Celebration of Ed’s life is being planned for Monday, September 14, 2020 at Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel, 250 E Broadway, Monticello.
