Elaine Lohr

Elaine Ruth Lohr, of Howard Lake and formerly of Nisswa, age 78, passed away Friday, April 26, 2019. She was born on June 14, 1940 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Elaine enjoyed talking with her Lord Jesus, playing card games, family gatherings, and eating out. She is survived by her two daughters, Kathy Noton (Tom Westermann) of Breezy Point and Julie Horn (Randy) of St Michael; five grandchildren, Rachel Jensen (Wyatt), Jacob Horn (Erin), Benjamin Horn (Liz), Joey Noton, and Kayla Horn; seven great grandchildren (baby boy on the way); brother, Don Wilson; sisters, Ceil VanGrinsven, and Patricia Thielen (Harold) and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Lohr; son Eddy Barnes; brother, Eugene Wilson II; sisters, Barbara Bulen and Mary Petrie; and parents Eugene and Gladys Wilson.

Funeral Service will be Monday, May 6th at 11:00 am at Bridgeview Church, 20500 County Rd 11, Big Lake, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, with a light luncheon to follow. Arrangements are entrusted to Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel of Monticello, MN 763-295-2918.  A private family interment will occur at a later date.
