Floyd was born in Aitkin, MN on April 30, 1935, the 2nd child born to Floyd E. Sutton, Sr. & Marian E. (Royce) Sutton and passed away on December 13, 2021.
Proud member of I.A.M. Local 737 where he served as Union Steward. Worked many years for International Harvester and Cloverleaf. He was preceded in death by wife Caroline; parents; sisters, June Grotte, and Cora; brothers Douglas, and James; daughter Mary; and grandson, Christopher. Survived by daughters Ginger of Portland, ME., Catherine (Michael) Plachy of Monticello, MN, and Carrie (Russell) Vincent of Stevensville, MT; sons Ronnie of East Bethel, MN and Douglas of Montana; 15 grandchildren; 8 great- grandchildren; siblings Rose DeBord, Plymouth, MN, Jack (Mary) Sutton, Becker, MN, Robert (Esther) Sutton, Sedalia, MO, Lewis (Linda) Sutton, Costa Rica, Alice Wepplo, Otsego, MN, Julia Bolger, Redmond, OR, Margaret (James) Hastings, Hermitage, MO, and Helen Hayden, Maple Grove, MN. Many nieces, nephews, family & friends.
Floyd loved the outdoors, especially fishing both summer and winter. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM on Tuesday December 21, 2021 at the Church of St. Henry, 1001 E 7th St, Monticello with visitation at 10AM.
