Francine Rose (Trettel) Johnson

Francine Rose Johnson, age 61 of Big Lake, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 27, 2025. She was born in Minneapolis on September 19, 1963.

Fran graduated from Delano High School with the class of 1981. She was a dedicated accountant for many years.

Fran enjoyed playing cards, playing tennis, riding motorcycles, visiting Nisswa Lake, hiking, antiques, and spending time with her family and friends. Fran brought the greatest joy to those around her, especially her family. As the best mom and grandma, she never missed an opportunity to support her children and grandchildren, proudly cheering them on from the stands at every sporting event. Fran’s love for her family and friends was unconditional. She had a generous heart, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, no matter the situation. Known for her peaceful nature, Fran had the ability to make those around her feel calm and cared for, but she was also the life of the party, always bringing joy and energy to the room when she entered.

Fran is survived by her loving children, Matt, Russell, Katelyn; grandchildren, Charlie, Mila, Adeline, Micah; parents, Doug and Kathy Trettel; siblings, Scott and Charlotte Trettel, Tony Trettel; and many other family and numerous friends.

A celebration of Fran’s life will be held Sunday, July 27, 2025 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the Monticello VFW, 713 Cedar Street, Monticello, MN. Please RSVP to Matt 763-516-1744.
