Gary Parmer Obituary

Age 76 of Monticello. Passed away on January 16, 2026. Gary is survived by his wife of 48 years, Andrea (Bethke) Parmer; sons Aaron (Jessica), and Erik (Tamara); grandchildren Taylor, William, Emmarie, and Waylon; and other relatives and many friends.

Gary was known for his sense of humor and was cracking jokes up until his last day. He appreciated hearing the retelling of his jokes to others. He had a great love of family, especially for his grandkids. He was a good man who took care of his parents in their elder years.

A celebration of life and remembrance to honor Gary will be held in the Spring.
