Gerald Barthel Obituary

Age 93 of Monticello, passed away peacefully at home on March 11, 2025. Preceded in death by his wife Beatrice; and sons Dana, and Robert Barthel. He is survived by his children Mike (Jovel) Barthel, Jeanne Swanson, and Brad Barthel; 7 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery to follow. Arrangements entrusted to Peterson-Grimsmo Funeral Chapel ~ Monticello. 763-295-2918. www.peterson-grimsmochapel.com
