Janice Marie Schumacher

Age 72 of Monticello passed away February 24th, 2025 at St. Cloud Hospital with family at her side. Preceded in death by parents, Vernon and Pearl (Danner) Klatt; and former husband and beloved friend Thomas Schumacher. 

Janice was born on July 7th, 1952 to Vernon and Pearl Klatt. She graduated from Monticello High School, worked at Bondhus Corporation followed by 20+ years at Wiha Tools. Janice enjoyed collecting angel figurines, giving gifts, playing cards with family, many years of bowling leagues, along with cherished time spent with her dog of 9 years - Angel. 

Janice is survived by son Corey Schumacher (Holly) and family; daughter Jessica Pearson; grandchildren, Miesha (Ryan), Alex, Lucas, Savanna, and Isabella; great-grandchild, Jayda; sister Judy Olson; nieces and nephews, along with many other family members and friends. Janice’s service will be held at Saron Lutheran Church, 311 Lake Street South, Big Lake, MN on March 27th at 6pm.
