Jessica Mae Hass, age 44 of Big Lake, passed away on October 4, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lorell and Ruby Hass; and grandchildren, “Little Peanut, “Little Bean” and Aaron Bentley.
Jessica is survived by her parents, Perry and Mary Metcalf; children, Kody Hass-Hoffmeister, and Kendra Hass-Hoffmeister (fiance Phoenix); sister, Kimberly Hass; significant other, Jeff Swanson; grandchildren, Evlynn, Asher, Quincy, and one on the way; nieces, Charlee (Tyler) and their daughters Victoria and Annabelle; Mackenzie (Dayton) and their son Benjamin; nephew, Anthony (Naomi); aunts, uncles, other relatives, best friend Amanda; and good friend Mike “Madz” Peterson.
Jessica was gifted when it came to Tie dyeing, knitting, and crocheting. She completed her training and was a certified nail technician. Her family and friends often received one of her fancy manicures. This was just a part of her giving and generous nature. She would drop anything to help someone on a moment’s notice. Always keeping an eye out for those “side of the road treasures”, you never knew when you might be the recipient of one of her finds! In the summer, she loved spending time swimming in her pool. Jessica could devote hours watching and sharing Facebook Reels. She loved spending time with her grandkids and family. At Halloween or Christmas, you could find her dressed up as an elf or in one of her favorite Halloween costumes. She really captured the spirit of each holiday by her outfits and joyful attitude.
She will always be remembered as a loving mom, grandma, daughter, sister, and friend.
Blessed be her memory.
A celebration of life service to honor Jessica will be held at 3PM on Friday, October 24th at 7809 County Road 8 NW, Maple Lake, MN 55358.
