Jessica Ann (Yanish) Lampi was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, niece, and granddaughter-titles she carried with pride and deep affection. Her infectious smile could brighten any room, and her love for family and friends was at the heart of everything she did. To know her was to love her.
She dedicated her life to caring for others, both personally and professionally. She had a compassionate spirit and a natural ability to make others feel safe and loved. Nothing brought her more joy than watching her children grow. While being a mother was her greatest role, she cherished being an auntie just as much. She was a fierce, tell-it-like-it-is kind of person, but beneath her no-nonsense approach was a heart full of kindness. She found peace near the water fishing, tubing, or simply soaking up the sun. A true animal lover, she had a special place in her heart for all creatures great and small.
After a long and courageous battle with gastroparesis, diabetes, and kidney failure, Jessica passed away surrounded by Love. Even with her medical battle, she was a beacon of hope for others struggling with the same concerns. Jessica’s light will continue to shine in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to share in her journey.
She is preceded in death by her stepmother, Pam Yanish; grandfathers, Geno Yanish, Loel Bertrand, Marvin Keesling; grandmother, Pat Bertrand; father-in-law, Scott Lampi; and brother-in-law, Daniel Lampi.
