John Herre Obituary

John A. Herre, 76, of Monticello passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 17th.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John F. Herre and Hazel J. Swanberg. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of twenty five years, RoseAnn; children, Douglas L. and John W. Herre; stepsons, Kevin (Tina). Keith (Karen), and Kurt (Brenda) Otto; grandchildren, DJ Herre, James Herre, Amanda (Ariel) Hagemeister, Kaitlyn (Kaitlyn Nelson) Otto, Tyler (Addison) Otto, Chantell (Cody) Otto, Nathean (Alex) Otto, Courtney (Seth) Strandlund, Abby (Ryan) Otto, Noah Otto; great grandchildren, Sawyer, Solomen, and Ella.

John was a longtime member of the Lions Club.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 - 2:00 pm at the Faith Lutheran Church, 12449 Clementa Avenue NW - Monticello, on Saturday, September 21. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at 2:00 pm.
