Passed away on October 24, 2022 in Duluth at the age of 59. She was preceded in death by her mother Maryetta (Ballstadt) Larsen. Julie is survived by her father Kenneth D. (Delores) Larsen; fiancé Todd Carrico; siblings Michael (Jane) Larsen, Russ (Carole) Larsen, Cheri Gagne, Becky (Robert) Yaeger, and Kay Winkelman; many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends; and her beloved fur babies Scooter, Two Socks, and Benz. Julie was happiest when spending time with her family or taking in the sights and sounds of the ocean where she could gather seashells and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Nature brought joy to her with all of its flowers, birds, rocks, and animals. She found comfort in rearranging things and would even reposition the rocks outside of her house. Julie was loved by everyone she met and will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022 starting at 3PM at the Monticello VFW, 713 Cedar Street, Monticello, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family.
