Age 83, of Monticello, MN passed away on December 17, 2021. Preceded in death by his wife, Darleen; parents; 6 siblings; and daughter, Jill. He worked for NSP for 35 years prior to his retirement in 1995. He was one of the originals at the Monticello Nuclear Plant and pulled the first rods starting the power plant. He also served in the Navy for 4 years. He created many friendships and memories along the way. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. His spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew him. Survived by daughter, Jennifer; sons Dean (Dawn); Darren; grandchildren Jake (Emily); Morgan (Ryan), Reese, and Lauren; great-grandson Max; and great-granddaughter Addilyn; sisters Betty Lou Miller, and Mary (Ed) Lunke; brother Tom (Beth) Carstens, as well as many other relatives and friends.
