Kathleen Ann (Acciari) Peterson
Age 75 of Monticello
Passed away peacefully on Monday, November 27, 2023. She was born on March 27, 1948 in St. Paul to Perry and Dorothy (Johnston) Acciari. She graduated from Johnson High School in 1966 where she was active in Pep Club and the Girls Athletic Association. She retired after many years of employment at the University of Minnesota. Kathy had a generous and giving spirit. This led her to volunteer her time at the Monticello Hospital Gift Shop, and with the hospital’s ladies auxiliary. She was proud of her Italian heritage and volunteered at the Festival of Nations working with the Youth Italian Dance Group. She was a good cook, and treasured her time spent with the grandkids and watching their sporting events. Kathy was a morning person and made the most of her days. While living at Mississippi Shores in Monticello, she was actively involved in the social life with their various activities. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Kathy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Armando and Lillian Acciari; (Her grandfather was a first generation immigrant from Italy); her parents; and her beloved daughter Angela Marie Lambert. Surviving are her son Richard (Deanna) Peterson; grandchildren Mercedes Carlson, Avery Peterson, Carter Peterson, Tyler Lambert, Victoria Lambert, and Matthew Lambert; siblings John Acciari, Nancy Iserman, Tom Acciari, and Judy Bonsell; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
