Lawrence "Larry" H. Begin

Lawrence Harold Begin, age 76 of Richmond, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023 after a courageous fight with cancer. He was born in Minneapolis on May 31, 1946, the son of George and Lillian (Brenna) Begin.

Larry grew up in Plymouth and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He attended Robbinsdale High School. Larry began working at the landfill with his father, and later began truck driving and working in salvage and restoration.

Larry enjoyed fixing classic cars, traveling, dancing and especially loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Lillian Begin.

Larry is survived by his siblings, Ron, Sherry, Sandi, Danny, Kevin, Micki, Lani; daughters, Jarilyn, Kelly, Cassandre, Tiffani, Ashlie; grandchildren, Kaylla, Janey, Valen, Braedan; and many other loving family and friends.

A beloved father, grandpa, brother, uncle, cousin and friend will be missed by all!

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Peterson-Grimsmo Funeral Chapel, 250 East Broadway St, Monticello. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 23, 2023 at 11:00 AM, with visitation one hour prior, at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 9300 Jason Ave NE, Monticello. Burial following at Riverside Cemetery in Monticello.
