Obituary

Age 15 of Becker, MN

Was called home on Tuesday, August 15, 2023. Left to mourn her presence are her Grandma Titi, Grandma Susan, Grandpa Ed, Mom ~ Carrie, Dad ~ Armel, Sisters ~ Samara and Danica, Uncle Tim, Aunt Brenda, Good Friend ~ Sasha; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Leila loved making cocoa bombs, yoga, the color pink, was highly intelligent, and adored all things Japanese ~ especially Anime. She was creative, artistic, and found joy in making beads and jewelry. Leila was an avid reader and liked going to Barnes & Noble and shopping at “five Below”. She was also sweet and loved “My Little Pony”, but don’t confuse her sweetness for weakness. She was honest and stood strong for social justice and was adamant that you saw and heard her point through to the end. Leila will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her. A memorial service to honor Leila will be held at Riverside Church in Big Lake. The time will be forthcoming.
