Marvel Evangeline (Stordahl) Paulson

Marvel E. Paulson age 94, passed away peacefully on Jan. 25 2026 at Good Shepherd in Becker, MN. Memorial Service at 11:00 AM with visitation 1 hour prior on May 16, 2026 at South Santiago Lutheran Church, Clear Lake, MN.

Marvel was born in Steele County, ND on a farm near Finley to Nels and Thea Stordahl on Dec 4, 1931 and moved to Minneapolis at the age of 9.  She married Phillip Paulson in 1949 and raised 5 children.

Marvel worked at Greyhound Corp. as an Information operator.  She spent her retirement years in Santiago Township where she became an active member of South Santiago Lutheran Church.  She spent the last 5 years at Good Shepherd in Becker, MN.

She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, playing games, quilting, reading, watching wildlife, and going to the cabin.

Marvel is survived by sons Robert (Theresa) of Minneapolis, MN, Douglas (Millie) of Bloomington, MN, and Charles (Abbi) of Painted Post, NY; daughter-in-law Catherine Kane of Bloomington, MN; grandchildren Jeremy (Julee), Autumn, and Anders; and great-grandchildren Alex and Natalie.  She is preceded in death by her parents Nels and Thea Stordahl; her husband Phillip; sons Steven, and Mark; brothers Richard, and James and her sister Janet.
