Obituary

Mary Lou Hageman White, a beloved family member and friend to all; passed away on May 2, 2023, at her home in Annandale, Minnesota, at the age of 78. Mary Lou was born August 16, 1944, in Warren, Minnesota, to Velma C.(Haupt) and Raymond Hageman.

Mary Lou graduated from Foley high school before attending nursing school in Little Falls, Minnesota. She began her nursing career at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, Minnesota, and later moved to Las Vegas Nevada, where she worked at Sunrise Hospital for 30 years. It was in Las Vegas that Mary Lou met the love of her life, Robert White. They were married and shared many wonderful years together before Bob's passing.

Mary Lou enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, including her siblings, stepchildren, nieces, nephews, and neighbors.

She had a way of making everyone feel loved and appreciated and she was exceedingly generous with all. It was evident that she touched the lives of many people throughout her life. She was the life of the party!

After retiring, Mary Lou enjoyed playing cards, gardening, and bird watching.

She will be deeply missed all that knew her, including surviving siblings: Robert (Colleen) Hageman of MN, Sue (Butch) Ickler of MN, Donna (Willard) Sabrowsky of MN, Paul Hageman of ND, Catherine Heger of TN, Tom Hageman of MN.
Step Children: Leah (Timothy) Arndt of NV, Lori (Shannon) McHale of NV, Melanie (Don) Bergan of NV, Cayle (Jessica) Littlechief of HI. Many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and neighborhood friends.

Mary Lou is predeceased in death by her late husband Robert White, her parents, sister Carol Schleif, and brother Kenneth Hageman.

Visitation is planned for Tuesday, May 9, 2023, from 4:00-7:00 PM with a prayer service following at Peterson, Grimsmo in Monticello, Minnesota. Mary Lou's funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at Saint Henry's Church in Monticello, Minnesota, with visitation one hour prior, officiated by Father Patrick Barnes.

Mary Lou will always be remembered for her love of life and the warmth she brought to all those who knew her.
