Born in Minneapolis July 25th, 1954 to Richard and Antoinette. Passed away peacefully at home on January 17th, 2021 surrounded by loved ones.
In his youth, Michael attended many schools, starting at Visitation, attending Ramsey, and graduating from Washburn High School, after which he took classes at Normandale College. He worked as a paper boy for the Star Tribune and the Red Owl before going into business with his brother, running Pixie Liquors for 42 years. He would end his career working at the Target Superstore in Monticello for 7 years. Michael loved to golf, play hockey, and bowl, rolling seven perfect 300 games. Family came first though, and his most cherished times were spent with his children and grandchildren Camping and Fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard, and Antoinette; brother, Dennis; and niece, Christine.
Michael is survived by his wife of 20 years, Marie; children, Jason, Karen (Michael “Tay”), Lawrence (Leah), Erin (Allen), and Gabrielle; siblings, Richard And Brian; grandchildren, Aleacia, MaKenzie, Keagan, Abrial, Eli, Maddox, Isaac, Ireland, and Miracel; and many other cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
A private family service was held. Public celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred in Mike’s name to the CentraCare Foundation, Hospice section.
