Michael Joseph Wrona

Michael Joseph Wrona, age 67 of Monticello, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 37 years Brenda Wrona; grandson Levi; and sister Marion Wrona.  Michael is survived by his sons Mike (Courtney) of Monticello, and Jordan. Daughter Shannon Bliayang and children of Blaine; grandchildren Logan, Lilah, Lucas, and Camden; sisters Delores, Nancy and Karen; and his beloved dog Mya. Michael worked for many years as an over the road truck driver as well as a custodian for a local school district. Michael retired at an earlier age to become a caretaker for his loving wife Brenda who became sick for over a decade before her peaceful passing in August of 2021.  He was a courageous, loving, and caring man who had a strong faith.  Mass of Christian Burial  will be at 11AM Tuesday, May 23, 2023 with visitation 1 hour prior to Mass at the St. Henry's Catholic Church, 1001 E. 7th Street in Monticello.  Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Monticello following the funeral mass. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials that will be used to plant a tree in memory of Michael.
