When her children were grown, she moved to Otsego, MN and retired from both the U.S. Department of Defense and Target. Pat enjoyed watching mystery and crime investigation television shows, HGTV, reading romance novels, thrift store shopping, and spending time with her kids and grandchildren. Pat is a cancer survivor, having been diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in 2003. She had a major car accident in 2018 that changed her way of life but she emerged as resilient as ever. In 2019, Pat moved to Albertville, MN where she lived until her death. She is survived by her three children Laura (Nathan) Edwards, Leia (Bryan) Richter, and Louis (Krystal) Beauchane. She had a deep love of her grandchildren Juliann Beauchane, Ginger Espe, Levi Edwards, Cody Edwards, Sydney Beauchane, Stella Beauchane, and Kelsi Beauchane, and step-grandchildren Matthew Richter and Sally Richter. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and the family will make donations in her name for the support of breast cancer patients and public & children’s libraries.
