It is with great sadness that the family of Patrick “Pedro” John Gilles, Sr. announce his passing. He was called home to God on October 15, 2025. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Pedro will be remembered with love. Patrick John Gilles, Sr., age 65, of Becker, MN was born on November 3, 1959, to the late Baltis and Emily Gilles (Otten), in Monticello, MN. He is survived by his wife, Lori (Sutton) Gilles; children, Patrick Jr., Amy (Brian), Carol (Tony), Bradley, Trista (Dustin), and Grady; his grandchildren, Emilie, Lillie, Kegan, Hunter, Noah, Kinlee, and Bristol; his siblings, Leonard (Mary), and David (Barb); sister-in-law, Kim (Greg); brother-in-law, Lee (Deanna); sister-in-law, Stacy (Bob), as well as many friends and family that will miss him dearly. Those who knew Pedro knew that his true passion in life was riding his Harley with his wife Lori, and their family and friends. He loved taking long road trips on the bike. He passed his love of motorcycles on to his children and grandchildren. When he wasn’t riding his Harley he could be found at the cabin or the house working on one of his many ongoing projects. He enjoyed going to swap meets and flea markets collecting “treasures” or anything he thought was cool or unique. His family may have even called him a pack rat from time to time. His grandchildren were his pride and joy; he loved watching them grow and succeed in life. Pedro was a long time standing member of A.B.A.T.E and the NRA. He was a proud supporter of President Trump and didn’t shy away from his political and social views. If you knew Pedro you knew that he could be heard in a room before being seen. He loved to talk and be social. There weren't many places he could go without knowing someone or someone knowing him. Something many may not know about him is his unwavering faith. He was a true Catholic at heart. He was known and loved by many. He was a devoted husband, father, grandpa, and friend. Inside that big biker exterior was a man with a huge heart, he truly was a big teddy bear. Patrick John Gilles, Sr. was preceded in death by his parents, Baltis and Emily Gilles (Otten); mother and father-in-law, Don and Joyce Sutton; brothers, Sylvester, John, and Tony; his sister-in-law, Tanya; and brothers-in-law, Al, and Rick.
