In her younger days, Phyllis liked to hunt. She loved to play games and work crossword puzzles. In the Wintertime, she would work on picture puzzles. She was an avid reader and would read 2 to 3 books at a time. She was an awesome baker and cook – a favorite was her banana bread. Phyllis also used to plant large gardens and did a lot of canning. She and dad would go in the camper all over the United States. While traveling, they would go to flea markets, and she liked to go to the casinos. When it became hard for her to get around, we would come and take her shopping. She would spend 3 hours going up and down the aisles just to look at stuff. Phyllis liked to listen to old country and Celtic music. She loved cardinals and birds and had a collection of them. Her favorite color was red.
