Richard (Dick) Kolbinger
Patriarch, Korean Veteran, and role model, passed away at age 90 on January 29, 2023. Dick was raised in Becker, MN, and was the son of Thomas and Mildred Kolbinger. He lived a full life. Preceded in death by wife of 63 years Mayme (Okerman), Son, James, and all of his 4 siblings. He is survived by son, Stephen (Carol), granddaughter, Catherine (Blair), great-granddaughter Olivia, and many loving relatives and friends.
Dick was a go-getter career salesman who was generous and quite the outdoorsman. The cabin was his happy place. Always looking for projects to work on, it looks as though he finally ran out of things to do here on earth. He was a rare man of true integrity and will be sorely missed by all.
A special thanks from the family to Inver Glen Senior Living for their wonderful care throughout the last five years.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 11:00 AM, with visitation one hour prior, at Mary of the Visitation Catholic Church, 12100 Sherburne Ave, Becker. Interment to follow with military honors at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Becker.
Memorials may be made in memory of Dick to the Special Olympics or to your favorite charity.
