Rita Catherine (Fedor) Wieber

Rita passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents John P. and Clara (Lucas) Fedor. She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Dr. Michael A. Wieber; sons Dr. Jeffrey (Nicole) Wieber, and Steven Wieber; sisters Mary (Eugene) Ostendorf, and Elizabeth Fedor; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Michael and Rita owned Monticello Optical Center from 1979 - 2017 , where Rita served as office manager. Reading fiction, traveling to Florida, birdwatching, and dancing were among Rita's favorite things. 

Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 9:30 am on Friday, December 19, 2025 with a prayer service at 9:30 a.m. at Peterson-Grimsmo Funeral Chapel, 250 Broadway Street East, Monticello, MN.
