Robert Gustave Hamner

Robert Gustave Hamner, age 102 of Becker, MN, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 19, 2024. He was born October 2, 1922 in Minneapolis, MN to Gustave A. and Lillie M. (Lundberg) Hamner.

Robert was a dedicated farmer throughout his life. His passion and caring nature will be missed.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Alice (Sjolander) Hamner; parents, Gustave and Lillie; stepfather, Peter A. Peterson; and sister, Vivian L. Peterson.

Robert is survived by his son, Dale (Carol) Hamner of Princeton; daughter, Cheryl Hamner of Becker; son, Gary Hamner of Becker; and many other family and friends.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 1:00 PM, with visitation beginning at 12:00 PM, at Peterson-Grimsmo Funeral Chapel, 250 E Broadway Street, Monticello, MN. Burial following at South Santiago Lutheran Cemetery in Santiago, MN.
