Robert "Bob" James Mullin, age 79, formerly of Cokato, MN passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023 in Buffalo, MN. Bob was born on April 25, 1943 in Duluth, MN to parents Mark and Bernetta (Murphy) Mullin. He was very proud of his Irish heritage, and having been born and raised in the beautiful city of Duluth. Bob served our country in the U.S. Air Force. After his service in the military, he worked for many years as a machinist for WSI in Orono. He took early retirement to care for his wife, Elaine. He was fond of all music, but particularly from the 50's, 60's, and 70's and Neil Diamond. He liked to relax by watching TV, especially the Minnesota Vikings (although I don't know how relaxing this year would have been to Bob!)
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; 11 siblings; and wife Elaine. Surviving are Elaine's children Diane (Bruce) Severson, Nancy Burkstrand, Roxanne Wessman, Duane (Cherrie) Wozniak, and Melissa Anderson; many loving grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 10:30AM with visitation 1 hour prior at the Church of Saint Henry, 1001 E. 7th Street, Monticello. Interment to take place at a later date with military honors at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements by the Peterson-Grimsmo Funeral Chapel, Monticello. 763-295-2918.
