Ross Wilford Gabrielson

Ross W. Gabrielson, age 82, of Big Lake, Minnesota, passed away serenely while surrounded by his loving family on January 14, 2025. He was preceded in death by his grandson Joseph Blad; son Mark William Gabrielson; and wife Dianne (Clausen) Gabrielson. Surviving are his children Sonia (John) Shafer, Jodi (Dan) Pearson, and Jessica Gabrielson; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Charleen (Joe) Tolmen; brother-in-law Bob (Lo) Clausen; and numerous other relatives and friends. Ross traveled extensively, especially to Arizona. He also took pleasure in spending time with the grandkids. He was known for instigating shenanigans. He treasured walking through the woods and the Wildlife Refuge area. He was a lover of all sports and could be found watching them frequently on TV. The Minnesota Twins, Wild, Timberwolves, Vikings, and Gophers could count on Ross to root them on. Ross also had a heart of servitude. He was a firefighter and ambulance driver and volunteered with the American Red Cross. Per his wishes there will be no funeral services.
